Hi there! My name is Eva Malek — a 2D motion designer from Costa Rica, currently based in the Bay Area.
With 7+ years of experience, I’ve created design and motion work for news, broadcast, marketing, education, tech, and film. My style often blends collage elements with textures, vector illustrations, and typography - resulting in dynamic mixed-media visuals that feel both unique and compelling.
I'm often involved in every stage of the creative process — from brainstorming and storyboarding to design, animation, editing, and sound. I thrive on challenges and enjoy pushing myself to experiment with new techniques and ideas in every project I take on.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me at the climbing gym or traveling with my wife, always looking for the next adventure!
